Recently, in July 2021, a U.S. District Court in Texas delcared that DACA is unlawful and had paused all new DACA applications. On October 5th, 2022 the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit affirmed this decision and has sent the case back to the District Court in Texas for futher proceedings. At this time, USCIS is only processing renewal DACAs and are NOT processing intial applications. Although we understand this difficulties it brings to our future DACA applicants, we want to reassure you that we are hopeful legislation in favor of DACA will be passed soon and once we receive related information we will be happy to assist you with your application.
